INTRODUCTION & RETAINANCE POLICIES
- STATEMENT
- This attendance policy outlines the expectations of Team Members throughout their employment at C T Williams Technologies Inc., Our Team interdepends on each member to keep the organization functioning efficiently Being consistently tardy or absent will puts a strain on other team members, and punctuality helps to maintain efficiency in our workplace. In order to maintain efficiency, we expect team members to be punctual and follow company policies and procedures.
- SCOPE
- This company attendance policy applies to all non-exempt team members regardless of position or type of employment. The time Attendance Machine is the device that is used for recording team members’ time. This device can be found at each of our office locations. All employees are required to use the time Attendance machine as Payroll is dependent on the machine records to determine the payment of salaries. Failure to comply with the usage of the time clock can result in loss of payment and will also lead to disciplinary actions procedure.
- POLICY AND CLAUSE
- Any team member who clocks in late- after their respective work shift begins half day pay/ 4 hours would be deducted from their salary.
- Team members are required to contact their Head of department should they find they will be late.
- ‘’All Sick Report’’ must be accompanied by a Certified Sick leave
- All employees are required to fill an interoffice sick leave form upon resumption of duty after sick leave
- All working Bags should be placed in the locker before clocking in.
- It is mandatory that drinking water/tea/coffee, eating breakfast, fixing attire etc. be attended to before clocking in.
- Daily duties commence immediately after clocking in.
- Any team member's Time in records is recorded late two times in a week. The disciplinary action procedure will immediately take effect.
- All team Members are required to clock IN and OUT at the following Period:
- Commence of work shift
- Departure for lunch break
- Resumption after lunch break
- End of the Work shift.
- Before each clock-out period, all employees are to follow the clean desk policy.
- Team Members are expected to clock out at 5:00 pm with the exception of having in their possession an approved overtime form and or given instruction by their HOD.
- Team members working in the field are required to clock out immediately upon return to the office premises after their work shift ends.
- All-time attendance will be updated daily on the “Attendance Report sheet” at the end of each day. This record will be updated accurately and posted on the notice board and online as management sees necessary.
